This morning I moaned in frustration to God.
Another Wednesday had arrived and I was still in no condition to type and send a Mid-Week Miracle.

I didn’t want to say anything to you about my hands because I just told you about my hip surgery and what happened when God didn’t heal me.
But… I had surgery again last Wednesday.
The same arthritis that attacked my left hip joint also took out both thumbs.
In more pain than expected before the procedure, I took time off from writing. So much for remaining consistent with my commitment to write weekly about my unexpected and miraculous encounters with God.
This morning—with my hands still out of commission—I told God that it was already Wednesday again and I was going to miss another deadline.
Wanting to feel productive in the midst of my convalescence, I carefully removed the sheets from my bed to wash them. That’s when God reminded me about what happened the day my daughter’s library book was due.
If you click over to an older post of mine post called “God’s Due Date,” you’ll read about a miraculous encounter I had with God… and I won’t have to peck any longer at my keyboard with the only fingers that are currently working.

I want to encourage you with my testimony that God always comes through for us right on time.
