In light of the fact that this is the first episode of my podcast for the new year, I can’t help but highlight Isaiah 43:19, a Bible verse that speaks of our God doing a new thing.
God brought the theme of this verse into my life early last year when the Covid-19 pandemic changed everything. He continued to drive home the promise (and practice) of this verse through the introduction of an online talk show and bible study offered by the women’s ministry program at my church.
Here are links to a couple episodes of The NEW:
God wants us to forget the former things because dwelling on a dark past dims our hope for a bright future. That bears repeating! Dwelling on a dark past dims our hope for a bright future.
How thankful I am that my past does not predict my future. No matter what happened in 2020, 2021 is a new year, filled with promise. No matter what choices you made in your past, you have a clean slate ahead of you. No matter what has conspired to keep you bound to disappointments and regrets, you can walk in freedom and victory starting right now.
